- Click on the Start> Control Panel.The control Panel window opens
- From the control Panel window,select the programs folder.
- The Program window appears as shown below.

- From the programs window, select the Turn Windows features on or off option.The Windows Features dialog box will be displayed

- Now select the Telnet Client option from the Windows Features and click on OK.
- To connect to telnet,type Telnet in the windows search bar and then select the Telent option.
- The command Prompt screen will be displayed.
- Here from the prompt, u can type the telnet commands to access and manage the remote computer(s).
