Let us study about two villages of Telangana State to make a study of
an important resource and see what happens when it becomes scarce.
Case I: Situation in two villages Wanaparthy and Vaddicherla
of Jangaon District
A survey was conducted in two villages,Wanaparthy and Vaddicherla
of Jangaon District of Telangana region -the first with no-scarcity (good),
and the second with scarce groundwater.Census of wells was carried out
in the villages in order to get a complete picture of well irrigation and its
status as well as availability of water. Basic information on irrigation under
